A glamorous online casino site, has decided to part ways with his online branch The Ritz Club, out of fear of legal problems. The Ritz London has sold its online casino operations as a reaction to the unclear legal situation surrounding the industry and has removed all existing links from its website. While gamers that are already registered with the online casino will be able to continue to play at the site, this version will not in any way be connected to the famous hotel.
As waves of law suits and legal actions are threatening the online casino industry, some providers are taking the hint and acting more cautiously. It is a regrettable development for these casinos to feel that the circumstances in which they operate are too uncertain and ambiguous for them to continue offering their services. With the online casino industry globally booming, there is an urgent need to find ways for efficient regulation in order to create a stable business climate and prevent guerrilla growth. As with anything, the online casino industry is full of chances but also risks that have to be considered and controlled, without creating a hostile and intimidating business climate that prevents further growth. So for now, the Ritz has decided it better let go of its online casino. But who knows, as governments continue to come to terms with this new market, maybe the Club will once more be allowed to proudly acknowledge its famous heritage.
